
I’ve been dipping into Ken Edward’s Chaconne (an electronic chapbook published by Shearsman Books in 2007, and available here). It’s beauty and music have been turning things around inside me making me want to share in its riffs and variations; in the images it conjures then amplifies through five-lined splendour.
Questions of faith, environment and logic are all heard, but it is the beauty of the music, the variety of variation and the power of the images evoked which stays.
